الوصف	The postal service in Bhutan was launched on October 10, 1962, with the opening of a post office in Phuentsholing. The Department of Posts and Telegraphs was converted into an autonomous commercial corporation under the trading name Bhutan Post on October 1, 1996. The company became a member of the Universal Postal Union on March 7, 1969. Its operations include courier, mail, philately, transport, financial, and agency services.
